No joke, I maintain that chainsaw fights are the closest thing reality will ever see to a lightsaber duel. I desperately want to see a (fake) chainsaw-on-chainsaw fight. It would automatically make any movie THE BEST MOVIE EVER.
I know we say this every time we do one of these, but our narrator Siri is probably the most awesome.
Yup, I love knowing that all I have to do is type something in ALL CAPS, and the Siri turns it into magic.
I really hope you guys to a DOTF wrap-up video so I know what all the other Bat-family members got served. Great stuff, here …
All the issue 16s for those series say that they’re going to be concluded in Batman 17, so I’d bet that we see all those platters next week. NEXT WEEK. Man, that’s exciting!

…I hadn’t realized how many chainsaws were actually in this crossover. I’d also completely forgotten that the Suicide Squad crossover even happened. Why did I have to remember?
Hey thanks for that Piv. Given unlimited time, I would just make us do these things all day and all night. Someday, we’ll have a video team, and that’ll be that.
What Drew and I were most struck by in writing this thing is how frequently these characters get knocked unconscious. Everyone gets it at least once (Jason gets it like 4 times).
Also, we cut like 100 Suicide Squad jokes for time, but there easily could have been a 10-minute video making fun of SS and Catwoman. It would have been the easiest thing in the world.
I fully expect to see the 10 minute Catowman/SS video as a special feature when the Cram Session are released on DVD.
And a blooper reel where Siri curses a blue streak.
I guess I should stop erasing my outtakes, huh?
I would also be interested in just a reel of you swearing a blue streak on purpose.
You know your video is successful when it makes the Suicide Squad and Teen Titan/Red Hood tie ins feel interesting.

Aw, shucks, thanks Zach! These videos are great because they’re such a fun collaboration. There’s some combo of writing and image cutting between Drew, Patrick, and I, narration by a college friend, music by a childhood friend, animation by a coworker friend…it’s the sort of creative teamwork that I just adore.
